Tanzania
One of the origins of the class. Before BC, there were trade exchanges with Arab, Persian, and Indian regions. In the 7th to 8th centuries, Arabs and Persians migrated in large groups. The Arabs established the Islamic Kingdom at the end of the 10th century, while the Persians established the Sangi Empire in the eastern coastal areas of the mainland and Zanzibar. In 1886, the interior of Tanganyika was included in the German sphere of influence. In November 1917, British troops occupied the entire territory of Tanganyika. In 1920, Tanzania became a British "appointed territory". In 1946, the United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution to change Tanzania into a British "trust territory". On May 1, 1961, Tanzania achieved internal autonomy, declared independence on December 9 of the same year, and a year later, the Republic of Tanganyika was established. Zanzibar became a British "protectorate" in 1890 and gained autonomy on June 24, 1963. On December 10 of the same year, it declared independence and became a constitutional monarchy under the rule of the Sultan. On January 12, 1964, the People's Republic of Zanzibar was established. In 1964, Tanganyika and Zanzibar formed the United Republic and renamed it the United Republic of Tanzania.
