Zhenhuai Group signed a major project cooperation agreement with Senegal in Hangzhou
The gentle breeze of June bears witness to friendship, and the bell of cooperation heralds a new journey. On June 22, 2025, taking advantage of the China-Senegal Hangzhou Economic Forum, Jiangsu's leading private enterprise, Zhenhuai Group, signed a major project cooperation agreement with Senegal in Hangzhou. Senegalese Prime Minister SONKO attended the venue in person and delivered a speech. Li Zhaobin, the chairman of Zhenhuai Group, delivered a speech at the signing ceremony. General Manager Ji Guijin of Zhenhuai Group attended the signing ceremony.
This is the second collaboration between Zhenhuai Group and Senegal's SICAP Company following the official signing of the "Social Housing and Prefabricated Factory Construction Cooperation Project Agreement" on May 20th this year. The group has established cooperative relationships with enterprises such as Senegal's FDTT, AFTU Company, Yutong Bus Co., LTD., and Jiangsu Kaiyide Investment and Development Co., LTD. Jointly sign major project cooperation agreements, including:
AFTU Inter-provincial Public Transportation Project. This project was jointly signed by Senegal's AFTU Company, China's Yutong Bus Co., LTD., Jiangsu Zhenhuai Group and Jiangsu Kaiyide Investment and Development Co., LTD. The project involves the renewal and purchase of 4,000 new energy buses and the construction of facilities such as a maintenance center, with a total investment of approximately 400 million euros.
The five-party Memorandum of Understanding project. It was jointly signed by FDTT of Senegal, AFTU Company, Yutong Bus Co., LTD., Jiangsu Zhenhuai Group and Jiangsu Kaiyide Investment and Development Co., LTD. The memorandum signed for the construction of the Yutong Bus assembly plant in Senegal, including the construction of stations, rest areas and service areas, will purchase 10,000 buses from Yutong in batches, gradually update the old vehicles on the existing routes and add new operational routes.
Training program for industrial technicians. Relying on the technical strength and process capabilities accumulated by Jiangsu Zhenhuai Group in the construction and PC assembly fields, it has cooperated with the Senegalese SICAP Company to establish an industrial technical personnel training base in Huai 'an, Jiangsu Province, and signed a training agreement for 200 technical personnel and engineers needed for the above-mentioned project in Senegal.
Li Zhaobin said in his speech that Jiangsu Zhenhuai Group is an important participant in China's industrial construction and development. With a holistic strategic vision, a "one body, two wings" development strategy has been formed - taking engineering construction as the core business and international investment and international trade as the dual wings to support it.
Under this strategic framework, Jiangsu Kaiyide Investment and Development Co., LTD. (CAID) was established, aiming to build a strategic bridge between China and Africa, fully leverage the complementary advantages of both sides, promote economic and trade exchanges, and provide financing support for key projects. The establishment of Jiangsu Kaiyide Investment and Development Co., LTD. (CAID) originated from the shared vision of both China and Senegal. In December 2023, the founding ceremony was officially held in Huai 'an in the presence of His Excellency the Ambassador of Senegal to China. Our goal is clear and definite: to build a sustainable and innovative practical platform for China-Africa economic and trade cooperation.
The major project cooperation agreement signed this time not only accelerates the business cooperation between China and Serbia, but also vividly interprets the sincere treatment and heartfelt connection between the two brotherly nations.
